Staying in one of our Myrtle Beach vacation rentals will keep you close to where the fun begins. Let’s look at what your family can do in the Myrtle Beach area this Thanksgiving below.
Since you’re on vacation, you don’t have to worry about slaving in the kitchen all day long. Instead you can spend some quality time with your family while enjoying dinner at a local restaurant. Some of the restaurants where the family can have dinner at is California Dreaming, Rioz Brazilian Steakhouse, Wild Wing Café, and Cracker Barrel. Come, sit back and leave the cooking to the restaurants this Thanksgiving Day!
Black Friday Shopping
Even though you may not be at home, you and your family can still go shopping on Black Friday. After you have a wonderful dinner at one of the local restaurants on Thanksgiving Day, take a quick nap in time to go shopping on Black Friday. From going to one of the Outlet malls to heading to Broadway at the Beach, there will be plenty of sales going on. Get all the gifts that you can and be sure to hide them from your loved ones. We don’t want them to find out what they got before Christmas. Just enjoy spending time shopping with your loved ones and enjoying the warmer temperatures outside.
The Great Christmas Light Show
For many families the weekend after Thanksgiving Day is the day to get your home all decorated for Christmas. But instead of putting up your own lights at home, come to The Great Christmas Light Show in North Myrtle Beach on Friday, November 29th. From seeing all of the twinkling lights to having a hot cup of hot coco and visiting Santa, there is something for everyone in the family. There is an admission fee to see the light show which is $15 per vehicle but we can promise you, the family will want to return more than once on your trip.
