7th Annual Paws Across the Water Duck Race
Ten thousand yellow rubber ducks will be dumped into the Intracoastal Waterway to compete for an array of prizes. Adoption papers are available at the Humane Society of North Myrtle Beach (409 Bay Street) or adopt online by visiting www.duckrace.com/northmyrtlebeach. Proceeds from the race are going towards building a much-needed new facility that will house more than 2,500 animals brought to the shelter annually.
